Gaby a parcouru la planète à la recherche de ses sujets mais ramenait aussi dans ses bagages des photos de voyage remarquables. En 1959, au plus fort de la Guerre froide, il est invité à exposer ses photos à Moscou, Leningrad et Kiev. Il restera sept semaines en URSS, photographiant en toute liberté des artistes et des scènes de la vie à Moscou. 

En 1960, il se rend à Rome où il photographie les trésors du Vatican. 

En 1972, il est invité par la Fondation Nobel à photographier la cérémonie et les récipiendaires des prix Nobel à Stockholm en Suède, notamment le poète chilien Pablo Neruda.   

Ses voyages le mènent dans 23 pays, notamment le Liban, l’Égypte, la Grèce, le Gabon, la Tanzanie, la Finlande, Haiti, le Danemark, l’Iran, la Jordanie et la Suède.

N’oubliant pas son Québec natal, il photographie la péninsule gaspésienne, la ville de Québec et l’Expo 67 à la demande du maire Jean Drapeau. 

Gaby traveled the world in search of his subjects, but he also brought back remarkable travel photographs. In 1959, at the height of the Cold War, he was invited to exhibit his photographs in Moscow, Leningrad, and Kyiv. He spent seven weeks in the USSR, freely photographing artists and scenes of daily life in Moscow.

In 1960, he traveled to Rome, where he photographed the treasures of the Vatican.

In 1972, he was invited by the Nobel Foundation to photograph the Nobel Prize ceremony and recipients in Stockholm, Sweden, including the Chilean poet Pablo Neruda.

His travels took him to 23 countries, including Lebanon, Egypt, Greece, Gabon, Tanzania, Finland, Haiti, Denmark, Iran, Jordan, and Sweden. Never forgetting his native Quebec, he photographed the Gaspé Peninsula, Quebec City, and Expo 67 at the request of Mayor Jean Drapeau.
